Senior Analyst
Matthew has an MSc in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Edinburgh. The degree covers environmental economics, cost-benefit analysis and project appraisal techniques. Matthew undertook a dissertation using economic valuation methods to value environmental goods.
Matthew has a background in policy analysis, having previously worked at a senior level in political consultancy. He has worked with a major UK energy company on the implications of indirect land use change emissions associated with biofuels, and is currently working on a two year research project on land use and climate change mitigation in collaboration with Imperial College, London. Matthew has over 2 years’ experience in conducting greenhouse gas emissions assessments, including organisational, product, and event assessments.
