Senior Ecosystem Analyst

Catriona is an ecologist specialising in the provision of technical support and training for the development of forest carbon projects. She has experience of working on forestry projects in Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America, including reduced emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD), and afforestation and reforestation (A/R) projects. Such projects have led Catriona to be familiar with using CDM, VCS, Plan Vivo, CCBA and BioCarbon fund methodologies.

Prior to working with Ecometrica, Catriona worked as a greenhouse gas analyst specialising in carbon management, where she conducted greenhouse gas emissions assessments, climate change impact reporting and product carbon intensity analysis. Catriona obtained a first class degree in Ecology with honours in Environmental Science from the University of Edinburgh.
