In April, Ecometrica provided carbon calculations for the Radio 4 Costing the Earth programme, ‘Virtual Warming’.  Broadcast on 20th April 09, the programme investigated the carbon cost of our increasing computer use and how it can be made greener and more efficient.

Did you know that the total GHG emissions associated with viewing the most popular You Tube video, “Charlie Bit My Finger - Again!” (as of the 8th of April 2009), were equivalent to the GHG emissions associated with 117 people flying from London to New York!
