The Obama Inauguration Calculator is a web-based interactive tool, developed by Ecometrica, that calculates the carbon footprint of groups and individuals travelling to and from Barack Obama’s Inauguration in Washington, D.C. The calculator, located on the home page of the website www.obamacarboncalc.com, is easy to use, free, and takes only a few minutes to fill out. Once completed, the Obama Inauguration Calculator informs you of the total carbon emissions of your group, which are broken down into relevant categories affecting your carbon footprint, including travel to and from the inauguration, and accommodations and travel once in Washington, D.C.

In addition, the Obama Inauguration Calculator has been developed into a Facebook application, available for inclusion on your Facebook profile. Click here to use it.
